The overwhelming popularity of the promotion means the cards are being reprinted at maximum capacity. The Pokemon Company has condoned people’s behaviour on Twitter. The rest of the starter’s prices range from around $10-$20. The card sold for up to $100 on its own during its peak! The Kanto starters, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle are the next most popular, all of which sold for around $20-$30 each. In terms of individual cards, the holo Pikachu takes the biscuit here. Other complete sets are selling for around $300. There have also been sales of completed sets of the cards, the most expensive of these had an offer accepted around the $400 mark.
